Thong Dong Vegan offers 100% vegan hiking, trekking, and cultural experience tours in Sapa.
Throughout your journey, you can rest assured that all foods and drinks are vegan, whether you're exploring the culture in the village or the middle of the jungle. Not only is it delicious, but Thong Dong is also committed to cooking with the freshest ingredients and does not use MSG, ensuring the highest quality of your meals.
We deduct 10% of monthly profits to organize programs related to spreading the meaning of the vegan diet, environmental protection, and sustainable tourism development in the villages you visit. We chose high school students as the leading group that we focus on in this project. The project will be held every three months, lasting two days (Saturday and Sunday). TREKKING 1 DAY:
THE TERRACE RICE FIELD, BAMBOO FOREST,
AND H'MONG CULTURE.
(SAPA - Y LINH HO - LAO CHAI - TA VAN- SA PA)
Time: 8 hours
Length: 13km
Difficulty: Easy
Over 8 hours, you'll be immersed in the breathtaking beauty of Sapa's mountains, forests, and terraced fields. As you trek through one of the most remote H'mong villages, you'll also gain a deeper understanding of the local farming practices and the ingenuity behind their traditional costumes.
It's like a time-travel journey back to a time when people's lives were sufficient in the same way for a hundred years. That reminds us of the past when we used to be one with nature.
TREKKING 1,5 DAYS 1 NIGHT:
THE TERRACE RICE FIELD, BAMBOO FOREST,
HOMESTAY EXPERIENCE, H'MONG AND GIAY CULTURE
(SAPA - Y LINH HO - LAO CHAI - TA VAN- SAPA)
Time: 1,5 day and 1 night
Length: 18km
Difficulty: Easy
With a first-day itinerary like 1 day trekking, then you will stay at the Hmong homestay, have dinner, and explore their life. The next morning, you will learn how to make Giay's incense and visit their traditional house.
CULTURE DISCOVERY
1 DAY 1 NIGHT
(SAPA - LAO CHAI - TA VAN- SAPA)
Time: 1 day and 1 night
Unlike sunny days, when you can find the beauty of Sapa anywhere, on rainy days and heavily foggy days, it seems more difficult, especially for trekking and hiking activities.
Therefore, a cultural experiences tour would be a great choice. This tour also suits families with small kids who can trek long distances.
You will join a day tour in Lao Chai and Ta Van villages with the following activities: (1) learn how to make a H'mong
costume, make your beeswax painting, (2 ) soak the medicinal leaves of the Red Dao, and (3) know how to make incense from
the Giay people, (3) you will also have a very special experience —sleeping at a homestay of H'mong people. You can join in cooking local food and then have dinner with your host family and friends from all over the world.
FANSIPAN MOUNTAIN HIKING 1 DAY
- CABLE CAR EXPERIENCE
Time: 9 to 12 hours
Difficulty: Hard
This tour helps you completely experience Sapa's majesty. It is also challenging to conquer Fansipan Peak, the highest mountain in Vietnam, known as "The Roof of Indochina," and conquer your limit.
During this tour, you will see the diverse vegetation and animals in the forest, and you will be amazed at the beauty of the view when you reach the top of Fansipan Mountain.
The most special thing is that you will hear and feel nature's magnificence, beauty, and peace. A journey deep in the mountains, a journey of both fatigue and effort, will help you release negative energies.
You return to Sapa by cable car, and in about 20 minutes, you will admire the beautiful Muong Hoa valley below you. It' s an interesting experience.
MOTORBIKE LOOP:
LOCAL MARKET & COMMUNITY TOURSIM VILLAGE IN LAI CHAU
Time: 1 day, 1 night
This activity was held every Tuesday and Saturday.
On this trip, you will conquer O Quy Ho Pass, one of the four highest and most challenging passes in Vietnam, riding a motorbike.
You will also visit a local market rich in highland cultural traditions, where you can explore trading activities and savor local cuisine.
Additionally, you will stay in Sin Suoi Ho village, recognized as the most attractive community tourism destination in ASEAN in 2022.
This will be a truly unforgettable experience in Sapa!
