DETAILED ITINERARY

​

• 8:30

We can meet at Thong Dong Vegan Kitchen & Cafe or the point in the central area. You will get acquainted with the local guide and prepare the necessary things for the tour. Then, we started walking out of Sapa Center and moved to a small path.

​

• 09:15

Walking on a small mountain road, you will hear the sound of birds and streams in Y Linh Ho village.

​

• 10:00:

You will see the babble stream at the bottom of Y Linh Ho village and can soak your feet in the cool water. (There are toilets here if you need them.)Then, you will go uphill. Along the way, you will see majestic terraced fields created by local people, and a guide will share the crops and farming methods with you.

​

• 11:30

We'll have lunch at a H'mong home with a panorama rice-field view. You will enjoy lunch and rest for about 1 hour.

​

• 13:00 

After lunch, you will go deep into the H'mong village, where you will visit a typical Hmong house and learn more about their indoor space: cooking, living area, welcoming guests, and raising pigs and chickens. Along the way, you will encounter more terraced fields, mountains, and hills; this is the most beautiful part of the tour.

• 14:00

Going to the Lao Chai bamboo forest is a cool and poetic road.

​

• 15:15

Come to the center of Lao Chai village; here you will understand clearly the process of making a H'mong costume from planting flax to weaving it into a cloth; how to dyefabric from indigo; how to draw and the meaning ofsymbols on brocade fabric of the H'mong people.

• 16:00

Hmong life most authentically: eating local food, sleeping inContinue trekking to the homestay. Here, you will feel the

the attic, and living in terraced fields. After bathing and resting, you can participate in cooking with the host to understand the cuisine better here. (If you are not tired after a long day of walking)

• 19:00

Dinner time. This is when we chat with our fellow travelers and the host. (Don't be surprised that they will ask a lot of
things about your life - that shows how they care about you :D )

Finish the first trekking day.

SECOND DAY

​

• 07:00-09:30

It is the time for you to enjoy the fresh air of the highlands and enjoy breakfast with your cup of tea/coffee.

​

• 10:00

Experiencing making incense: Learn the composition and function of incense in Giay people's lives. Each guest is given ten incense sticks to take home as a gift. Visit the traditional Giay house and learn how to arrange the areas in the house.

​

• 11:00

You will be taken back to Sa Pa. The stop can be Thong Dong Vegan Kitchen & Cafe or your place in center.

 Finish the trekking 1,5 days and 1 night tour.

• Comfortable, easy-to-move clothing an one more set of clothes.

• Trekking shoes (Should choose shoes with nonslip and soft soles)

• Backpacks for storing water and personal items (brushes, phone chargers, mosquito repellent, etc.)

• Cash (used in case you want to buy things)

HOW TO JOIN GROUP

• You can choose to go on a private tour and not join a group. If you are willing to go with other guests, we will notify you 12 hours before the day of the tour.

• Tours are organized daily.

• 50% deposit 5 days before the tour date.

• Refund 100% +3 days before the tour.

• Refund 50% +1 day before the tour.

• Non-refundable within 1 day before the tour.
